Our mission

No one should face a crisis alone

Mental health touches everyone: after loss, abuse, financial hardship, military service, or a season that becomes too heavy to carry alone. We connect people and the organizations that reach others at the breaking point.

Our work spans mental-health care, family safety, children and families, military veterans, caregivers, and community support.

Legal Counsel

An experienced attorney who advises the foundation and helps families navigate the legal system, from protective orders and custody to the practical steps of leaving an unsafe situation.

Marie Scheib, RN

Friend of the Foundation

A registered nurse with more than 26 years in geriatric and memory care. Marie helps families plan safe, dignified care for aging loved ones and navigate the move into assisted living or memory care.

Aly Vredenburgh

Aly Vredenburgh

Friend of the Foundation

Author, researcher, and founder of the WeBelong Institute in California. Aly works on the root causes of the youth mental health crisis and leads California Can’t Wait, a campaign for a licensed mental health clinician in every public school.
